Tractel® is a world leader in industrial dynamometers and load limiters. Our dynafor™ range is the ideal solution for monitoring lifting systems, checking loads in factories, monitoring tension in power and catenary lines as well as the cables of cable-stayed bridges.

The Tractel® Group was established in France, in 1941. Tractel® designs manufacture and markets lifting & handling material, load measurement devices, temporary and permanent access solutions, and anti-fall safety equipment. The Tractel® Group's first and continuing success started when it acquired a license for the Tirfor® hoist, a pulling and lifting machine that operates with a wire rope passing through the machine. Due to the success of the Tirfor® since its unveiling, companies have attempted to mimic the device in some form of their own but Tractel® holds the patented trade-mark for the original, proven design.
