Bloom Manufacturing’s forward thinking in winch manufacturing is built upon over a century of experience. In 1901, a patent for a corn crushing and cutting machine was granted to J.S. Bloom of Winthrop, IA. It would become the founder’s flagship machine at J.S. Bloom Manufacturing Company. Today the emphasis is on the design and manufacturing of industrial and mobile hydraulic winches and speed reducers under the BLOOM™ Winches and LIFT-SAFE® Winches trademarks.
